ORACLE Heritage Services is Paul Frodsham's independent consultancy, dedicated to archaeological research, conservation and interpretation throughout northern England and elsewhere. If you are looking for help with designing or funding heritage projects, the provision of interpretive material (eg on-site panels, leaflets, websites), the production of management plans, or any other heritage-related work, then NOW IS THE TIME TO CONSULT THE ORACLE!

Paul Frodsham, a graduate of Durham University, has worked as an archaeologist in northern England for over a quarter of a century, including spells as Northumberland National Park Archaeologist (1992-2006) and North Pennines AONB Historic Environment Officer (2007-2015). During this time he has designed and delivered numerous exciting projects, involving several partners and many hundreds of local people. Most recently, he ran the Altogether Archaeology project in the North Pennines, enabling hundreds of local people to work with professional archaeologists to complete a range of exciting survey and excavation projects - for details please visit www.altogetherarchaeology.com

Paul also designed and manages WallWatch, a project delivered by the Hadrian's Wall Community Champions Project which enables local volunteers to make a key contribution to the management of the World Heritage Site.

In addition to many academic publications, Paul has written popular books about a range of subjects; recent titles include Hadrian and his Wall, Cuthbert and the Northumbrian Saints, and From Stonehenge to Santa Claus - the Archaeology of Christmas. He has appeared many times on national and local television and radio, and is a popular public speaker having given hundreds of presentations to local audiences in village halls and academic gatherings at national conferences.
